Adult Traffic Trading for BeginnersThe newbie finds this all very confusing with lots of terms like 'TGP' 'MGP' 'Click Productivity' and 'Skim Ratio' being bandied about. Often all the intimidating Jargon makes them think that traffic trading is 'not for them'. Often they think 'I will wait till I get bigger'... then never do get bigger because they dont trade traffic!!Its true if you do try to trade with the big guys they are capable of sending you hundreds or thousands of hits an hour and they expect them back again! They also expect the surfers you send to be productive (see below). First myth... Oh I need a trade script before I can trade traffic. Wrong. Nearly all trading software will count hits in however you send them. They will then return you an hour or a day later(depending on setup) the number of hits you sent ... often more than that! Second Myth... Oh they wont be interested in trading with me.... Look them up on http://findtrades.com or any one of a dozen other databases. It may be that their minimum number of hits per day is as low as 1! Of course the big boys demand anything up to 10000 hits a day but the traffic from the little guys is just as good! Whats this TGP and MGP business? And why have them anyway? Simple - TGP's (Thumb Nail Gallery Posts) and MGP's (Movie Gallery Posts) all run on the same principle. They have a large and frequently updated library of gallery links and thumbnail images which link to these galleries. Surfers click on a picture and OFTEN get sent to the gallery they want. Not always but often. A good tgp will persuade the average incoming surfer to click on three links in his gallery (this is known as 300% productivity). A percentage of the time the traffic will go to the gallery the surfer wanted (Usually 60%) other clicks will get routed to trades (your site for example if you are trading with them) or get sold via traffic brokers like choker traffic. So a TGP works rather like a traffic multiplier - You send the TGP a surfer, the surfer checks out a gallery and then gets sent to another trade or two or three...or maybe gets sold How do these traffic trader scripts work then...and do I need one? A trader script acts as a 'policeman' ensuring that traffic gets traded fairly. For example if you just trade traffic through a links list then the top link will get a lot of traffic and the bottom link virtually none! With a trade script the surfer never knows where he is being sent really. So if the site you are trading with owes you 50 visits you can be pretty sure that you will get those 50 back - probably 55! In addition a trade script will often be effective at catching cheaters (people who send false traffic to gain real traffic back). the script can also be set to 'skim' some clicks off and send them to traffic brokers for sale. This is usually where your purchased traffic comes from. So when the surfer clicks on an image the script works through a to-do list that says Do I send this hit to the gallery? Do I owe any of my trading partners any hits - if so send it to one of them. If not then send the hit for sale or to one of my own websites. If you own a big site which gets a lot of hits (2000 uniques a day plus) then yes you could do with a trade script. A good one is Turbo Traffic Trader http://turbotraffictrader.com. Its complicated but if you are one of my affiliates I will help set it up for you. How do I trade without a script? You sign up to be a trade partner, then you place a link on your site to the address you were given when you set the trade up - its that simple! The better the text you put in the link and the higher its placed the more clicks out you will get and the more traffic you will get back (usually around 5-10% more than you sent). Most people put trade links in a box a quarter down the page titled 'Hot Sites!' or similar. Note that surfers who have their cookies turned off, or who browse anonymously through a proxy will usually not be counted by the trade script, and neither will multiple visits the same day. Trade scripts send you 24 hour uniques and expect the same back! How is this different to a regular link exchangeWell with a regular link exchange you get an SEO benefit from the link back. With the concealed or dynamic linking you get from a trade script partner you get no SEO benefit unless you make it onto their toplist (if they use them) however you DO get back as much or more traffic than you send. This is why often regular link exchanges are put at the bottom of the page, where surfers rarely look but the search engines find them, whereas links to trade script partners are prominently placed. So whats the best way to use trades? You simply use tham to grow a new site- one of the best things to do is send traffic FROM a site you already have that has traffic and get the trade partner to return traffic to the new site rather than your originating site.
Things to be aware of when you trade with a partner who uses a script
TGP owners tend not to be cheaters since there are commercial databases the trade scripts access to lock out rogue traders. If you feel that you MUST log outgoing hits to trades and you dont want to run a complicated (and boy are they complicated) trade script then get a free php link tracker instead from http://coding.phpground.net/downloads-cat57.html. Dont use one of the free hosted services since they wrap a hidden frame around your surfers browser and serve them adverts which is why they are 'free'. Have fun and happy trading!
Search Engine Optimisation For the Adult WebmasterAdult Webmaster $$$This article assumes that you know something about the adult industry and SEO. It is not intended for complete newbies. If you want a basic grounding then I suggext you try one of the many adult webmaster boards that are around. What this article is about are the tips and tricks other articles do not cover and specifically those around new Google changes and as they affect Adult Webmasters in particular. The Aging trap. Google now has an aging algorithm, often referred to as a 'sandbox' that new sites are 'placed in' to mature before they are ranked. this weeds out the thousands of sites that spring up and dissapear as soon as people realise just how much talent and persistance (or capital) it takes to make money on the web. It also stops the 'I can get you top ranking on the keyword 'swedishrobotsatemyhampster' in two weeks type SEO scams. For the first 8 to 12 weeks your new sites will only appear on Google if somebody searches on your URL and types in for example 'kwikfire.com' then you will get usually just the index page. Sometimes there will be a description snippet with it and sometimes not. Then for the next 8-12 weeks you will get occasional search hits on unusual keywords in your page text (you DO have some text on your pages dont you?) when Google gets desperate. Then slowly your page will make its way (hopefully) up the rankings until it reaches its full pagerank and positioning after a total of 6-9 months. You can drive yourself mad trying to improve your pagerank until your site is matured, because until then nothing will have an effect except breaking one of the rules which will lead to being banned (your URL dissapears completely) or being partially indexed (your URL appears but there is no description). Dont bother! You can avoid this by buying an old domain *with the content still intact* which Google already knows about. BUT do not change the content too quickly or Google will think its a rewritten site .... back to square one. Change one keyword a week, one set of pages a day. The main index page change slower still. Force a Google re-index (see below) on at least a weekly basis. URL If you want a decent page rank at least one of your keywords should be present in your URL. Its a fallacy that its better to have a short URL in the adult world since nobody will type it in. Almost all your traffic will come from links that people click on or via search engines. So a url like adultpicsarehereforyou would be fine as far as the Se's are concerned and would score on adultpics picsarehere and keywords like that. If you want to or need to influence where the word splits are then adult-pics-are-here-for-you would force a split into conventional keywords. Content Content is now definitely king. By that I mean written content, not content in graphics. Search engines cannot see graphics. It is essential on every Index page to have as well as your links, warning statements etc at LEAST 200 words of well written descriptive text that contains your main keywords. To avoid the spammers who were producing machine generated sites full of crap Google seems to have implemented grammar and style checking now. It is no longer a simple keyword statistic count. You can copy the text from elsewhere and change it so long as its not copyright and that will not affect the result. Try to put some of your keywords in titles for the content (but they must read well) as H2 and H3 tags. Avoid H1 since it looks awful and Google can penalise you for spamming if you put too much in there! Put some of your keywords in image alt tags, whatever you write try to make it sentences! Place your useful content high on the page. If you have a warning notice put it at the bottom and hyperlink to it from the top of the page. AVOID: Wierd punctuation and smileys like :-) since they get marked as ungramattical and in extreme cases will result in your page being only partially indexed. Avoid mis-spellings - funnily enough link text does not seem to get spell checked whereas page content does. So if you have a keyword like 'mygirl' put it inside a text link to somewhere else on your site and not in the main body of your text. Meta Tags For Google the only important one is description. It should be a sentence, not too sales orientated, make sense, and if at all possible with no punctuation. Same goes for your page title but whereas your page title should only be 5-10 words, your description should be 25-35 words. The Linking Trap If you have links to/from a banner farm or a links dump that just has a huge array of links or banners and no text then get them pulled now! These links will penalise you. I talk to groups of people every day who have had their page ranking dissapear as Google adds another URL to its list of 'bad neighbourhoods' to link to. The best quality links are from within text that is relevant to the keywords that your page is targetting. In addition Google looks for and marks down reciprocal links. So one way links now are the safest bet. This means you should own two seperate domains and link from one whilst recieving an inbound link at the other. Stop using banners. Try a table with a graphic in and some appropriate text. This is why I started PORNavigator (see resources), by using this you get traffic from the network plus at least three one way text relevant links to your site. Doubtless many copies will soon spring up and somebody will start charging for traffic! Forcing a Re-index Many people do not realise that when you change a page you can force Google to re-index it more quickly. There are two ways of doing this, the best way is by using Google Sitemaps. Install a sitemap on your site and after it has percolated into Googles system you will find that by changing the 'last modified' tag of a URL and resubmitting the map you can get pages re-indexed in under 24 hours. Re-ranking will take another 7-14 days. Slower is simply resubmitting your page manually to google, this will force a re-crawl within seven days or so. Google crawls your site six monthly, three monthly, monthly, weekly, daily or hourly depending on its ranking and how often the page is seen to change. So if your page is on the Yearly list and you change it dont forget to resubmit or you will be there 4 ever! Summary For the moment this is the only good solid advice I can give you. Research your keywords well. Make sure you have a lot of text content with links embedded within it, titles, and bold text. Make sure whatever you do follows good grammatical practice and is relevant...... and wait. Dont even attempt to adjust your page to get better ranking unless its already aged. If your ranking drops like a stone then examine every outgoing and every incoming link. Pull all the ones that come from SEO programs and banner programs that do not have a lot of relevant text. Building an Adult Traffic Network Adult Site networks are designed around traffic, the endless flow of surfers from one domain to another in their search for that elusive perfect piece of porn that will make them sign up to a paysite and earn the webmaster money. Its best thought of as a complicated game of pass the parcel that proceeds in a well ordered series of stages. Each step in an adult network is served by a different sort of site, some by multiple types of site. The steps are, attract traffic, titillate traffic, try to convert traffic, pass traffic on or sell it. The first step is to attract traffic. Traffic comes from five distinct sources, in a well ordered network each will be present. Some traffic comes from direct advertising on search engines, pay per click programs, paid inclusion directories like Yahoo and byline url's on newspaper ads for phone and escort services etc. This traffic is king because the chances are its FRESH traffic. You can feed this traffic content you have had for years (so long as its good stuff) and they will convert and buy subscriptions. Other traffic comes from people who search for keywords on the many search engines that there are out there. This will be a mix of Fresh and JADED traffic. JADED traffic has been on the net surfing porn on and off for months or years, they have enough of an idea of what they like and where to find it that can ferret it out for themselves. Jaded traffic has seen most of what is out there, to finally convert them you will have to show them something new! Most Jaded traffic however will come from people who use Link Lists such as PornLinks because these people know their way around and know that link lists are where fresh stuff gets posted first before the search engines find it. Some Jaded traffic will come from bookmarks into your network, where people like a site of yours, usually a links site which is always changing, and have saved the address. Conventional wisdom has it that these surfers are easier to convert due to some sort of 'brand loyalty' but I dont see it myself. These guys just know you have what they want and know they can get it for free so they are sapping your bandwidth and I dont think they EVER convert on your network. Finally you have Purchased or traded traffic. This is exit traffic from somebody elses Paysite or conversion network that has not signed up and converted. These are people who have spent the last hour or three looking at solid porno and are overloaded and dead. This is the worst traffic to try and convert - STALE traffic. Many people wont even try to attempt it which is why they sell them to you or trade them with you. If you are going to convert these guys then you need your own content that they cant find anywhere else, good graphics, good advertising copy and to be sneaky and use things like blind links etc. There is kind of a feeding pyramid as a result of all this. Most webmasters start with the fresh traffic which is easier to convert and indeed before Google started their site aging algorithm this used to work but now in order to get decent search engine traffic you need to have a site that has been up and running for a year or more. What are you going to eat while you twiddle your thumbs.... ah of course... Googles Adwords campaigns! Lets do some maths. Cost per click on a decent keyword is about 13 Pence. your average payout will be about £25. That means in order to break even you need to convert one in 192 surfers you get onto your network. The bad news is that the GOOD sponsors boast about having a 1 in 200 conversion ratio and thats on the traffic you send them - you have your own conversion rate in between getting the traffic and transferring it. The depressing thing is that when you are new and dont know what you are doing your overall conversion rate will be something like one sale in 1500 and when you do well it will be somewhere between one in 600 and one in 900. So adwords is never used to drive a volume of traffic on a popular keyword (13P) but to fill in traffic from low competition keywords that convert well and cost about 5-6 pence a click. Only problem is from these keywords you will get at most a few hundred hits a day and how much a month do you need to live on? So bearing in mind that man cannot live by Adwords alone,,, you need a feeder network to supply traffic and a filter to feed targetted traffic to your conversion sites, and sponsors to pass them on to. Most adult networks have a site known as a hub which acts as that filter. Lets discuss the different Roles and the type of sites that fill them. Lets talk about your 'hub' first. This is the heart of your empire. On your first content pages will be links organised by niche to every free site and niched linklist site you own, plus links to hosted galleries at your sponsors. This is your filter - there is no point sending a surfer who is looking for busty Latinas to a skinny milf site so make sure your niches are clearly labelled and have attractive thumbnails. In subdirectories off this site you will have pages optimised for the search engines. These mini-sites have a small but good picture content - the aim is to tittilate the surfer and get them to click onto a freesite link. Every link on there which is not a reciprocal to a traffic gathering site should be to one or more of your free sites themed to go with that search term. These links should not open up the link in a new page because you dont want them coming back to your mini-site and finding that every link points to the same few sites. There is a way of using Javascript on their entry to the free site and 'breaking' their back button to prevent this. See my webmaster resource page for details. Now you want some Free Sites. Ideally at least 3 per niche these are structured with a warning page and a couple of content pages followed usually by an adverts page. Each free site should be differently coloured, different sponsors and ideally be on different domains. Thats why a lot of adult webmasters own several general domains. It gives the surfer an impression they are not on your site any more. The content should be good quality but not too graphic.... you are promising the explicit stuff on your sponsors paysite yes? When your free site has been around for a while then you may find it gets hit by search engine traffic. If so then put several large links titled 'More xxx sites' that point back to your hub on the pages. The free sites are your conversion weapons. everything should be structured to get the surfer to link on a tour or signup page at your sponsors. If you dont like their tours then write your own!! Links lists and link dumps give you high use pages with (mostly) jaded or stale traffic where you can post reciprocal links to those who link to your free-sites and hub. Its better to have these recips here because you dont want to bleed traffic from your main site. Exit traffic from your tours and free sites can be sent here. Yes its a lot of work. When you are new fill in the content you dont have with your sponsors hosted resources. Work towards replacing these a layer and a niche at a time with your own sites until after a few years you have reached the dizzy heights of contemplating your own pay site! Adult Webmaster $$$ Hi my name is Sherri, I am in my 30's and I am a cam girl. This is something I have started doing in the last 6 months and I have taken to it straight away. I realise its not everybodies cup of tea but it suits me. You may be looking for an extra income, want to replace your full time job with this or be unemployed currently, whatever your situation you can earn reasonable money working from home with a webcam. This is for real, I am a real person so I am not going to tell you that this will be easy because it wont! Anything worth doing needs a bit of hard work doesnt it? The first thing to realise is that people will be seeing you nude, and possibly performing various sexual acts on a daily basis. If you are at all shy, or extremely worried about being seen over the web then this is possibly not the job for you. The person on the other end of the connection could be male, or female, could even allthough this is unlikely be an aunt or uncle! I am very adventurous by nature so this does not worry me too much. You will need a good sense of humour and to be very self-confident since people can become a bit verbally nasty especially when its the end of their paid for time and they want to see more of you! Many people will promise almost anything to get a free flash of flesh and you need to learn to tease without showing them what they want to see until they pay. Regardless of what they promise or say. There are two ways you can do this business. You can join a service and I hear many girls are successful with this, or you can be totally your own boss. What I do, and what I think is best is I do everything myself with the ocasional aid of a friend - Matt from kwikfire.com. I have an advertising page I can send potential customers to ( http://sherri4u.com) that also has some free camera chat links for when I am not around that make me money as well. You will need to sort out how people are going to pay you, remember that some payment schemes like paypal dont allow adult services. Though I suppose that you could always not tell them and see what happens. Epassporte are quite good and if you get big enough to have some canned video of you on the web for sale there is always ccbill and worldpay. You can use direct transfer into your bank account, or even cash by post (pre pay) if you dont mind your address being known. You will need a webcam, watch for one with a TRUE resolution of 640 pixels wide or more, and a fast internet connection (ADSL/Broadband). You need to advertise - there are a lot of sites that accept free ads on the net just use search, and you will want a permanent web page that you can post with lots of information about you (or a little)! Here is my advert text so you can see what works:
Hi my name is sherri, im in my 30's and i am a

Contact details on Sherri XX Get the idea? Well I must leave you now and get working to meet this months mortgage payment!
